¡Feliz Mayo!


 
La Clase de Kindergarten

The Kindergarteners are practiced the alphabet in Spanish followed by the song “Marchando Alrededor del Alfabeto” (Marching with the Alphabet).  They also started the unit about t The World of Insects and reading the popular books from Eric Carle. The activities the Kindergarteners will be involved throughout the end of the school year will be learning the cycle of the butterfly in Spanish the parts of an insects, followed by flashcard’s, music and games.

La Clase de Primer Grado

The First Grade students were very excited to learn the sea creatures in Spanish followed by songs and games.  Each student will continue working on a poster labeling and drawing their favorite under the sea animal.  They continue to review the calendar, numbers and questions they ask each other in Spanish of everyday conversation.  



La Clase de Segundo Grado

The Second Graders had fun asking each other questions about everyday conversations in Spanish they look very confident using Spanish questions. They will continue throughout the end of the school year reviewing the weather and the months of the year. They are doing an amazing job asking each other ¿Cúando es tu cumpleaños? (When is your birthday?). They will also learn the clothing by explaining what they typically need to wear each month according to the weather.

La Clase de Tercer Grado

The Third Graders reviewed zoo animals and used adjectives to describe the animals. The questions they will be practicing include: ¿Qué animal es? (What animal is it?) and ¿Cómo es? (What is it like?). They will continue throughout the end of the school year reviewing what they learned all year with games and worksheets. We also collaborated with Mr. Smith learning the terms and rules of soccer in Spanish.  Then we brought our vocabulary and rules learned out in the field playing futbol. Dale a la  pelota, Gol!!  

La Clase de Cuarto Grado

The Fourth Graders will started Unit 4: En la Escuela (At School), where they talked about classes, places in the school, and classroom activities, using questions such as, “¿Adónde vas?” and “¿Qué vas hacer?” (Where are you going? and what are you doing?). The responses will be followed by regular verbs, such as: Voy a estudiar, (I am going to study), Tu vas a estudiar (You are going to study), el/ella va estudiar (he/she is going to study). We will continue throughout the end of the school year reviewing vocabulary, asking questions playing games and having fun Fridays!
